My background:
Prior to becoming a resume writer, I was a merchant mariner for 16 years. After my maritime career drew to a close, I completed a specialized post-graduate program in technical and professional writing at San Francisco State University.
After graduating from San Francisco State University, I enrolled in the Academy Certified Resume Writer (ACRW) program at the Resume Writing Academy.
While studying at the Resume Writing Academy, I also earned an Academy Certified Profile Writer (ACPW) credential, so I know how to craft executive-level social media profiles in addition to top-notch resumes.
There is no substitute for practical experience, yet earning top credentials improves the quality of our work.
